The Soft Ending
I used to rush through my evenings — always planning, always preparing for the next thing. But over time, I realized peace isn’t something we find at the finish line. It’s something we create, moment by moment, especially in the quiet.
The end of the day is more than rest — it’s reflection.
It’s the small prayer whispered before bed, the gentle forgiveness of yourself, and the deep exhale that tells your spirit, “You did enough.”
A soft ending doesn’t mean weakness — it’s wisdom. It’s choosing calm over chaos, stillness over striving.
For me, this looks like writing down three things I’m grateful for, lighting a candle, and releasing everything I can’t control into God’s hands.
That’s where peace begins — not in perfection, but in presence.
Maybe peace is the real kind of progress after all. When you end softly, you begin the next day stronger.🤍
