Grace After the Storm

Storms don’t always arrive with thunder. Sometimes they come in silence — through loss, burnout, or the quiet ache of uncertainty.

I used to think strength meant holding it all together, pretending I was fine. But healing began when I finally allowed myself to break, to feel, and to be honest about the pain that shaped me.

Grace found me in the stillness that followed — not in fixing what was broken, but in learning to love myself through it. It’s in the soft mornings after a hard night, in the slow rebuilding of trust, in choosing to forgive the parts of me that tried to survive the storm.

If you’re walking through something heavy, I hope you remember this: you don’t have to rise fast. Sometimes grace meets you in the waiting, in the quiet, in the breath between letting go and starting again.

Because peace isn’t what comes after the storm — it’s what we learn to carry through it.
