I used to think I needed big routines to create peace at home. But lately, I’ve realized it’s the small things that make the biggest difference. The sound of dishes drying, soft voices winding down, a few minutes to breathe before the night begins. Peace lives in the details we often overlook.
These evenings aren’t perfect. The toys are still out, someone always wants one more story, and I’m usually reheating my tea for the third time. But peace isn’t found in perfection. It’s built in presence. And that kind of peace stays.
Tonight, let yourself end the day softly. You’ve done enough. You’ve been enough.
