Tonight, I choose softness over control. For so long, I believed that the only way to heal and to protect my heart was to stay guarded and to maintain absolute control. I was convinced that if I just built my walls high enough, no one could hurt me again. But what I've learned from my own journey, and from working with so many of you, is that this kind of control is an illusion. It doesn't actually protect us; it just keeps us isolated. It keeps us from experiencing the very thing we crave: genuine connection. Real healing doesn't come from being rigid. It comes from being soft. It comes from learning to trust your intuition, to be vulnerable with safe people, and to allow yourself to feel without judgment. It’s the strength found in surrendering the need to control every outcome and instead, embracing the beauty of the unknown. Tonight, I'm choosing to let go of the reins. I'm choosing to listen to my heart, not just my head. I'm choosing to be gentle with myself, even when it feels scary.
